This second activity of our to-do list in Marseille is mainly for our fellow Erasmus students, who’ll have to study at some point! But no worries, the Alcazar Library sets the perfect learning environment. The library is very well located, has a beautiful and original architecture, and is big enough that it never feels crowded. This is also a great place to socialize with your local friends since it is the place to go for local students.
La Friche de la Belle de Mai
This is THE cultural place of Marseille. They host all kinds of events, concerts, expos, parties, barbecues, etc… It’s truly one of the most lively places filled with gardens, restaurants, theaters, concert halls, libraries, skate parks, and even a preschool. It is an unmissable activity to do if you want to dive into the Southern French lifestyle and socialize with locals!
Les Calanques
The TO-DO activity by excellence!! How can you visit Marseille and forget to enjoy these little pieces of paradise? Do you like beaches, crystal-clear water, and mesmerizing sights?
